Location: Schauer Center, Pike’s Peak
This one-hour session will introduce the basics of macro photography with a DSLR and basic equipment. Topics will include how to obtain 1:1 or better image ratio, the effect macro photography has on metering, equipment including macro lenses, extension tubes, and telextenders, use of short telephoto lenses in macro photography, combined with diopters or extension tubes, the utilization of a tripod, working distance of different lenses, and short discussion on macro photography composition. You do not need to bring any equipment with you for this session.
