Event Description

As part of Appleton Public Library’s Earth Week celebration, the library is partnering with Wisconsin Public Television to offer a free public screening of the documentary "Green Fire: Aldo Leopold and a Land Ethic for Our Time". The film shares highlights from Leopold’s life and career, explaining how he shaped conservation in the 20th century and still inspires people today.

The screening will be followed by a facilitated discussion of the film’s subject matter with Dr. Teresa Weglarz, senior lecturer, Biological Sciences, UW-Fox Valley.
