Event Description

This brand new Legacies of Milwaukee Brewing tour focuses on the many historic corner taverns that were once brewery owned saloons on Milwaukee’s Southside. Known as “tied houses” (because they were “tied” to the brewery), these iconic brick buildings with corner doors were built throughout this brew city in the late 1800s. You’ll get an inside look at these buildings, meet the owners, and of course sample their “barley pops”.

Lunch will be served inside the Milwaukee Brewing Co. Brewery on S. 2nd St. This will be the seventh Legacies of Milwaukee Brewing tour, which is part of Discovery World’s Distant Mirror Archaeology Program.

Register online or call (414) 765-8625 to sign up.
