Lake Lawn Resort’s Executive Chef, David Ross and Founder/Co-owner of Geneva Lake Brewing Company, Pat Mclntosh will be setting the table on Friday, March 1 with both of their passions, delicious food and great beerReturn to event list.
Starting at 6:30pm in the Frontier Restaurant, guests will delight in a four-course meal paired with brews from the Lake Geneva Brewing Company.
Brew master Pat Mclntosh will be in attendance to discuss the beers and answer any questions on the tasty selection.
Tickets for this event can be purchased at Lake Lawn’s Frontier Restaurant for $45 per person, plus tax and gratuities.
The meal will begin with a roasted pumpkin soup shooter with garlic cream paired with the Narrows Kolsch Style Beer. The Kolsch style has a reputation as the palest varietal of craft beer, which compliments the light flavorful soup.
The next course will feature seared sea scallops, a wilted crimson and green spinach salad topped with a glazed caramelized shallot lemon “beer blanc.” This course will be paired with the Weekender Wheat Beer one of Geneva Lake’s most popular ales.
The third course will include a chipotle-braised beef, creamy white cheddar polenta with fresh herbs, roasted carrots, petite green beans and a crispy shitake micro salad. The slightly-more-hopped Cedar Point Amber Ale, a Wisconsin favorite, will be paired with this course.
The night will end with a rich molten chocolate cake and oatmeal stout ice cream paired with the Black Point Oatmeal Stout. This brew uses nine malts to deliver a heavy bodied beer that is dark in color and deep in flavor.
