Event Description

Lake Lawn’s Frontier Restaurant will be hosting a wine tasting event featuring varieties from Sturino Trotta Cellars paired with a five-course meal prepared by award-winning Chef, David Ross on Oct. 18 at 6:00 p.m. Tickets are $65 per person, and select wines will be available for purchase.

David Trotta Barnes, a Kenosha native turned California winery owner, returns to Wisconsin to present a full-flavored, handcrafted collection of wines. Combining Old World artisanship with New World technology, Sturino Trotta Cellars cultivates premium wines under the family tradition of highly stylistic wine, made by hand, using only select choice grapes.

The menu is set to feature a variety of items ranging from Grilled Shrimp Ceviche with Citrus Vinaigrette, to a Vanilla Butter Poached Cod with Cous Cous and Confetti Vegetables. Other delectable courses include Beef and Beet Carpaccio with Mesclun Lettuces topped with a Creamy Buttermilk Blue Cheese and Balsamic Reduction. All five courses will be paired with complimenting wine including the 2008 Chardonnay, 2006 Jazz, 2007 Chardonnay, 2008 Pinot and the 2005 Tesoro.
