Event Description

This 6-week sign language class is for parents, grandparents, relatives, neighbors, caregivers and any adult who needs to communication in sign language with a young child. The focus is on vocabulary and basic sign language communication used in the day-to-day lives of infants and toddlers who are deaf or hard of hearing.

Pre-requisite - Signing with Young Children, Level I. Your instructor will be Hollie Barnes Spink, who is Deaf and a new mother herself. All classes taught at the Center for Communication, Hearing & Deafness (CCHD)

Course fee is $50.00 per person and $40.00 for each additional family member. It is recommended that students purchase the course textbook, "Signing for Kids", which is available for purchase at CCHD for $13.00.

Registration deadline is Monday October 22. CCHD is a 501 c 3 non-profit organization.
