Event Description

Jennifer Chiaverini, quilter, fabric designer and author of the best-selling Elm Creek Quilts novels, will be the featured speaker at a benefit luncheon at the WMQFA on Thursday, November 1. Chiaverini will speak about her newest novel, The Giving Quilt, and share her journey as a quilter. Attendees will receive an autographed copy of the novel.

The luncheon will feature a sampling of eight recipes from Chiaverini’s book, The Quilter’s Kitchen. Pumpkin soup, turkey tetrazzini, roasted autumn vegetables, cranberry cornbread stuffing, apple spinach salad and three tempting deserts will be served. Patched Works quilt shop staff will be on hand, offering a selection of Chiaverini’s Red Rooster fabrics for sale. Next Chapter Bookshop will offer many of Chiaverini’s novels and quilt pattern books for sale as well.

Tickets for the event are $75 per person, and will be on sale on our website,, as well as at our Museum Gift Shop.
