The Milwaukee Bucks will host the New York Knickerbockers on Friday night at the Bradley Center.

11 of their next 19 games will be at home.  14 of those 19 games are against teams with a sub .500 record. 

They play the Knicks 3 times in that span.  New York is currently 3 games ahead of the Bucks for the eighth and final playoff spot and although they are competing with the Knicks for that spot, the story on Friday night will be Jeremy Lin. 

A few weeks before the All-Star break, the Knicks were without stars Amare Stoudemire and Carmelo Anthony and subsequently dead in the water when talking about a playoff spot.

Enter Jeremy Lin, who had one of the best 10 game stretches to start an NBA career ever. Heading into the All-Star Break the Knicks won 7 games in a row at one point and 9 out of 12, knocking the Bucks out of the eighth spot in the East.  They haven't given up that spot since, despite not playing very well of late.

Lin has come back down to earth, as was expected, but his story is still an inspiring one.

Check out these two articles written by a fellow Harvard Alum.  Pablo Torre wrote a story on Jeremy Lin back in 2010, Lin's senior year, forecasting a possibility that Lin might have become the first Asian-American born ever drafted into the NBA.

Then he did the Sports Illustrated cover story on Lin when Linsanity was sweeping across the world.
