What now CBS?!

Is anyone else watching Big Brother this summer or is it just me? It’s not something I freely admit (until now), but I look forward to it all year. For my fellow voyeurs, you already know that this season has been dubbed the ‘Summer of The Saboteur’…which no one has figured out how to correctly pronounce yet. One player was secretly chosen to create shenanigans around the house to throw the others off their games. So on Thursday, the lovely Julie Chen revealed the identity of The Saboteur. Fifteen minutes later, The Saboteur (silver eye-shadowed Annie) was voted off the show! The thought of a bunch of panicked producers sitting around trying to figure out a way to save the season is more entertaining to me than any food challenge, show-mance or veto competition. If anyone has any clever ideas, let me know and I’ll pass them on to the network big wigs at our next weekly meeting.

On a side note, I used to have Showtime that airs Big Brother After Dark, a live feed of the house from 11pm-2am. Most of the time you’re privy to the houseguests sleeping, picking their toes, or sitting in the backyard counting spiders. BUT…every so often there are scandalous hot tub parties and crazy fights that get butchered in editing. I highly recommend it, but only if you have a DVR and can fast forward through all the toe picking. I miss Showtime…and Dexter…and Weeds. That’s another subject for another time.

Big Brother airs on CBS 58 Sundays, Wednesdays and Thursdays at 7pm. Did I mention I work in Promotions?
