I'd like to introduce you to... Britni's Box Office
A big reason I chose a career in broadcast journalism is my love for stories and story-telling-- bringing those stories to life, creating a visual experience. It's an art, a completely creative process. That's also how I feel about film. I love movies.
Along with being on camera reporting stories to you, I'm also often behind the camera shooting and editing my own stuff. So I have an appreciation for not only what's on screen but also what goes on behind it. I don't just determine a movie's quality based on the story. I can't help but analyze the cinematography, editing, and direction. I'm nowhere near an expert and don't claim to be. I just have a love for movies and thought it'd be fun to share some of my thoughts with you. But as much as I love escaping reality for a while with a good movie, I love getting out from behind the screen and experiencing my own reality. So along with a movie review, you might also find my thoughts on recent restaurants I've eaten at, songs I'm listening to, places I've been, etc. I'd also love to hear from YOU! If there's a good movie you'd suggest or if you agree/disagree with me thoughts on one, please comment here or email me at bmcdonald@cbs58.com. Lights, camera, action! |
